  • and get straight to the point
  • they are also very
  • punctual oh yeah i heard about german’s
  • punctuality
  • when making dinner plans with a german

  • the time specified is set in stone

  • stick to the rules
  • they don’t attempt to cross the street
  • even when there are no cars around

  • [Applause]
  • that’s interesting
  • and what’s the weather like

  • well the summers are comfortable and wet
  • the winters are very cold and it’s

  • partly cloudy all year round
  • munich is the coldest city in all of
  • germany because it’s close to the alps

  • does it snow a lot in munich

  • yes it does

  • so it must have been really hard for you

  • to get used to the climate here which is
  • so different
  • yes it’s completely different

  • it’s so hot most days but i’m getting

  • used to it

  • is the food in germany very different
  • than the one here
  • i think germans eat more fresh food than
  • americans
  • german cuisine is reputed for having the
  • best sausages or beers
  • whereas americans drink more wine and

  • coffee
  • so how come you decided to move to miami

  • going thousands of miles away from home
  • i have always wanted to live close to
  • the sea and surrounded by nature
  • so when i found out about the job

  • opening here in miami i jumped at the
  • opportunity

  • try to take it easy though

  • how do you get along with your

  • colleagues are you fitting in

  • desk and bedside table
  • my roommate is a nice and easygoing
  • person her name is maggie and we’ve got
  • so much in common
  • i’ve made a lot of other friends too
  • so
  • what is miami like

  • oh it is hands down a nice and warm

  • place to live but truth be told it’s

  • also very humid and often sweltering hot
  • there are lots of caribbean and latin
  • americans here
  • unfortunately public transportation is
  • not at all reliable i hope to be able to
  • buy a car soon
  • how’s dad what’s he been doing lately

  • well he just went on a business trip to

  • france
  • i see and what about you mum
